The new Audi A8 will be about 10cm longer than the current model and that means it’ll set a new standard for the space inside the cabin. To achieve this, the front axle had to move forward by 15cm which is also good for weight distribution. Of course rear passengers will benefit the most from this space increment.
As for styling, the new car will get only subtle changes specially at the front where the Audi grille is bigger than ever and the new headlights are equipped with daytime LED lights. The whole body is also more curvy and sleek than the current design.
And as for mechanics, 2010 Audi A8 has some new features to offer. The basic version will come with a front-wheel-drive system and a CVT gearbox connected to a six-cylinder 2.8 liter engine. The big A8 will also be available with a twin-turbocharged four-cylinder engine! And inevitably, a hybrid variant would come out later on. You still get the big V8 with the top of the range model, so don’t despair!
